    1. Having read two similar books recently (lesbo love on Everest) I felt this one did much better with the technical aspects and most importantly didn't steal content from the internet! However the love part of the story was very clichéd, with the hate to love thing happening very quickly and there were typical fade to black sex scenes which is always unsatisfying.(view spoiler)[The book was doing really well at describing a semi plausible attempt on Everest by amateurs, until unnecessary drama wa [...]

    2. I gave this book 4 stars because the technical and historical content was fantastic. The fictional story would probably be a 3-3 1/2 stars. I didn't quite feel the relationship between the two main characters as much as I would have liked. I was also slightly disappointed at the end when I felt like there was not resolution between Ricky and a couple of the other characters. As stated, though, the technical information was top notch.
