    1. “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” Martin Luther King, Jr.Book two in the Twins Trilogy follows book one: Angel Comes to the Devil’s Keep: 5-starsI love this story-line. The first book ‘Angel’ set the groundwork and established names, relationships and the tone of this series. At first, I bogged a bit with reading of the higher circle of society because of the many titl [...]

    2. If you are looking for adventure, mystery and romance, then look no further than Regina Jeffers' Twins Trilogy. "The Earl Claims His Comfort" is Book 2 in the series and is just as compelling as Book 1 "Angel Comes to the Devil's Keep".As the book description states, the Earl of Remmington has been ordered home from the Continent to be guardian to a child that is not his. Little does he know he is coming home to a trap filled with danger, deceit and an elusive man claiming to be him. His one tru [...]

    3. Another enthralling mystery by Regina Jeffers. At the heart of this story, and quick to capture the readers’ heart too, is the Earl of Remmington (Rem to his closest friends). Quick to capture the readers’ heart, that is, if he hasn’t claimed it already, in ‘Angel Comes to the Devil’s Keep,’ as the forlorn third in a love triangle inevitably does. The handsome and loyal Lord Remmington has had his fair share of heartache, and then some. His first love married another while he was on H [...]

    4. I got an ebook version of this to review but I ended up purchasing the print book based solely on my love for Angel Comes to the Devil's Keep, the first book in this trilogy. It was money well spent. It is a book that can stand on its own but I recommend reading Devil's Keep first to give you more swoon for your time. You will fall in love with Remmington once again who is recovering from violence to his person at the beginning of this book and heartbreak from the previous one. We meet Comfort w [...]

    5. I enjoyed the second book in Trilogy, which follows 'Angel Comes to Devil's Keep, though it may be read as a standalone novel. It's very well written, with well developed characters and a plot full of twists and turns. There is plenty of adventure, a mystery, kidnappings, attempted and successful murders. I loved chemistry and romance between the main characters. Miss Neville was a very likeable, compassionate and resourceful young lady, who didn't just wait to be rescued. She and Lord Remington [...]

    6. This is book two in ‘The Twins Trilogy’ we have picked up where we left off in the previous ‘Angel Comes to the Devils Keep’ this time we are focusing on Remmington – who I have to say I have been really looking forward to reading his story since we first met this intriguing man in the previous and I have to say that Ms Jeffers has not disappoint where it comes to this man and this story. This is such a fabulous story, it isn’t just your stereotypical historical romance this is somet [...]

    7. This novel follows, "Angel Comes to the Devil's Keep" and is full of adventure, suspense, romance and full of surprises. It is well written and will keep you reading and doesn't want you to put the novel down. I started reading it when I got home from church and only stopped to change clothes, eat and read it til I finished it. It was well past midnight when I finished it because I couldn't go to bed til I knew the ending. There were new characters added to it and I had to keep them straight in m [...]

    8. The Earl Claims His ComfortThe Earl Claims His Comfort is book 2 in the Twins Trilogy. I fell in love with the characters while reading Angel Comes to Devil's Keep and wanted to know more of the Earl of Remmington. I left quite satisfied! I enjoyed the revisit from Lord Malvern and was fun to encounter characters from The Realm Series. Mystery, intrigue and don't forget the romance. This could be read as a stand alone, but I would encourage starting at the beginning as to not miss out on another [...]

    9. A Really Good MysteryThis book is another great regency sleuthing adventure from Regina Jeffers. It tells the story of the Earl of Remington, and the imposter that is trying to take his place. It is the second book book in a series of three, but it is not necessary to have read the first book to fully enjoy this one. There are lots of twists and turns in the tale. I loved that some of the characters that are part of Regina's the Realm series are present in this story. If you have read the Realm [...]

    10. In 1820 England, while Comfort Neville and the child Deirdre Kavanaugh await the arrival of the Earl of Remmington back to his home from abroad, he arrives within sight of his home only to be shot at and wounded. Soon it is discovered that there appears to be a man who wishes to replace Remmington as the rightful earl. This enjoyable mystery with characters that I like can be read as a stand-alone story but I look forward to the third of the trilogy being published so that I can re-read all three [...]

    11. I thoroughly enjoyed this tale of mistaken identity set in the Regency period. What would a person do if someone acted in his or her stead through the act of impersonation? The characters were well-developed and sympathetic, tugging at my heart in their attempt to find the right path to each other.
