    1. Catharine (Mac) Mackenzie, her best friend and business partner, Sabrina (Brie) Woodhouse and their new friend and employee, Kaeryn Wilkes are one of four food businesses catering the Mackenzie Bay St. Patrick's Day Gala. Serving Brie's signature chocolate creations and fondue pots of chocolate with delectable sides for dipping has Brie in a state of nerves. When one of the propane tanks for the fondue pots fails to work, Mac calls Louis Stocker, her detective out of bed to bring her a spare fro [...]

    2. This is one of my favorite series, this installment does not disappoint. I really enjoyed learning more about Brie's background, the new character, Brian and seeing Louis and Mac's relationship continue to grow. The mystery was well done, with a few surprises that kept me guessing. I can't wait to read what happens next. I received a copy of this manuscript from the publisher, my review has been voluntarily submitted.

    3. The best so far!I was so excited that this book came out so quickly after the previous book in the series and it was the best so far. Mac, Brie and Louis are great characters but the new teens seem like they might be returning characters and I'm really excited about that. Brie's protege seemes to really be blossoming after being introduced in the last book and Kaeryn is full of potential as a character. The story in this book is very interesting but it's special, we get to see the characters hav [...]

    4. This series has been a bit hit-or-miss for me. Luckily, this one is a definite hit. I really like the addition of Kaeryn. She really helps balance out the impulsiveness of Mac. The mystery was great, not too simple or convoluted.

    5. Despite the fact that the business association was recently defunct, the town is hosting a St. Patrick's Day Gala. The event for the who's who of Mackenzie Bay will feature delicious chocolate treats created by Sabrina. In the midst of the chaos of the evening, malfunctioning equipment threatens to ruin her reputation. Mac and their new assistant, Kaeryn, work hard to save the night by reaching out to the catering department and a sleeping Louis. While Mac waits outside the restaurant she is sta [...]

    6. Another delicious book in The Chocolate Cafe series by Valley Sams. This one is full of surprises that will have you craving chocolate and mystery!Mac, Louise, Brie and a few new comers are up to murder and mystery with twists at every turn of the page. Brie has some old ghosts that come back from the past that may cause her future to be numbered. Love this series! Bring on book 7.

    7. Lots more chocolate in store for everyone at the St. Patrick's Day Gala, but will it be enjoyed before a body is found? Catherine Mackenzie and her friend, chocolatier Sabrina Woodhouse are participating in the Gala, when a new friend manages to find the dead body of a party-goer outside. I am enjoying the series more now that the girls are making new friends. I enjoy the camaraderie between everyone. I have to admit I snacked on chocolate throughout the reading of this book. It was impossible n [...]

    8. This book was a bit slower than the others in the series. I'm still giving it 4 stars though, because I like all the characters.

    9. Everyone Loves Chocolate, Especially Brie's and Mac'sWhat happens when the town heiress and her forever bff from the other side of town go into business together? They have a chocolate shop so successful customers line up to wait for their shop to open. Whenever Mac's detective boyfriend has a murder to investigate she tries to help much to his dismay. And this time he was just in time to prevent her being murdered too. I love the way this author adds a new character to a story and that person b [...]

    10. While Brie, Mac and Kareyn are catering the St Patrick's Day Gala a body is found of an old class mate by Brian who has eyes for Kareyn. Louis is trying to find out who the murderer is if he can keep his old car running. Love this series. The characters are fun and who doesn't love chocolate. Can't wait for the next book.

    11. Oh my gosh this was greatI have loved this series from the beginning. I love hire Mac and Louis's relationship is developing. I love the addition of Brian to the group. I am excited to see what the future holds for everyone.

    12. Wow!I absolutely love the newest book in the series. Valley Sams takes you on an interesting trip starting with a Saint Patrick's Day party and ending up trying to figure out who committed a gruesome murder. I particularly enjoy the look into Sabrina' s childhood, and the murderer will surprise you!

    13. St. Patrick's Day Gala gone wrongWhen Brie agrees to do one of her absolute no's and does Fondue for a hefty paycheck she thinks the worst thing that could happen is the chocolate stations don't work until a murder of a lifelong friend happens in the parking lot. Life is crazy and things aren't always as they seem. Love this series

    14. PhenomenalThis is book 6 of the Chocolate Cafe Series and the best yet. Mac and Brie are backtering a St Patrick's Day party. Think leprechauns and gaudy decor! Of course there is a murder and it leads to revelations about Brie's past. There is also a new character.Brian or Brain as Kaeryn calls him. Eccentric characters and tons of chocolate you can't go wrong!

    15. CuteAnother winner. I do wish the characters were introduced again in each book. Mac or Charlotte? Sabrina or Brie? I used to think that was 4 different people. Especially the first two names.

    16. St Patrick's day gala, with a side of murder. Brie and Mac up to their usual shenanigans, great story, bringing in Brian is a great addition.Interested to find out what his story is. Good reading.

    17. What can I sayGood is good. I love these girls. And the guys too for that matter. One heck of a good mystery. And Chocolate. What more can you ask for.

    18. Good bookNice and charming mystery with engaging characters who keep the story interesting. The solving of the murder was a little quick and easily summed up

    19. Chocolate Cafe series Another great story by Valley Sams, The characters are fantastic. The plots are great and the telling of the story is wonderful. Mac and Brie are two childhood friends who go on to solve and find the murderer.
