    1. Find all of my reviews at: 52bookminimum/I thought I was done with Charlaine Harris after finishing the debacle known as . . . . (You totally heard that in his voice didn’t you? Samesies.)But then we changed our T.V. provider and got the Hallmark Mystery Channel as part of the new package and I discovered that D.J. Tanner played the part of Aurora and like a crapload of these movies had been made and they often play on Sunday nights which is my most mind-spinny night of the week and I find stu [...]

    2. Aurora Teagarden and her husband Robin have finally welcomed their new baby Sophie into their family and have begun their adventure into parenting. Robin is up for a pretty important award for his latest book and has planned to leave town for a couple of days for the ceremony with Roe staying at home with little Sophie. However, right as Robin is packing up to leave Roe begins to feel a bit ill leaving the couple wondering if he should cancel or continue on the trip. Robin gets the idea that the [...]

    3. You know what I found scary about Sleep Like A Baby? How much Roe’s and my life are alike right now! We both just had a baby (her first and my last). We are both nursing moms who lives revolve around our babies. We both got sick (she with the flu and me with strep). Now she did find a dead body in her backyard and I found a dead mouse in mine. So that is where the similarities end.Seriously though, Sleep Like A Baby is a wonderful continuation of the Aurora Teagarden series. So easy to read, I [...]

    4. Roe and Robin, new parents to a beautiful baby girl are adorable. Their love for each other and their child is written so wonderfully. Roe, is sick and Robin will be out of town so he calls in the woman who helped care for Roe and the baby before. Roe is relieved she can sleep and know that all is taken care of while she recuperates. Well things just can't be that easy, nope. Roe wakes to her baby wailing, her care taker missing and there is a dead body in the backyard that is not the caretaker. [...]

    5. Now that is an interesting ending with a question that can truly be debated! I won't put the question here because it is a huge spoiler. I love these comfy mystery series because of the connection readers get to the characters. When you do the wait for the next book then start reading it, you just feel like you are "visiting" old friends and playing Clue. It is great! It is no secret I love Charlaine Harris' books because I am pretty certain she is my most read author in my GR stats but without [...]

    6. I loved this series and I have some sadness that it is over for now. I’m not sure if Charlaine Harris is going to continue Roe’s journey, she did leave it open so we’ll see. Roe is like an old friend, which to feel that way about a character in a book says it all for me. I laughed through 10 books and for such quick reads Charlaine Harris did an amazing job with the murder mystery in each one. I never felt the story was rushed at all, nothing was left hanging or unexplained. She packed the [...]

    7. Why do I keep reading these when I don't like the writing or any of the characters? Is it because I solve the mystery so early and it makes me feel like a genius, criminal mastermind? Is it because I have some strange allegiance to the characters or a writer I've never met?? I quit! If you see me with another one of these books, slap it out of my hand.

    8. I have enjoyed this series in the past, but this will likely be the last one that I read. There was far too much focus on feeding the baby, changing the baby, etc. I felt it detracted from the story.

    9. Another two star from the newest books in the series, yet I'll still read the next one 😂 the mystery did absolutely nothing for me, I'm only in this for the characters (but even they're wearing thin)

    10. New parents, Roe and Robin are about to face a mystery that is going to test their relationship. Robin goes away on business, leaving Roe at home with their newborn infant. Roe become ill, needing to rely on a nanny’s help, when someone from their past ends up dead in their yard. This installment in the Aurora Teagarden series shows the melding of Roe’s and Robin’s relationship as well as the strength of the bonds with their friends and family.Sleep Like A Baby is what we’ve come to expec [...]

    11. Sleep Like A Baby is the tenth novel in the Aurora Teagarden series by American author, Charlaine Harris. New mom of baby Sophie, Roe has the ‘flu when Robin goes off to a conference to be presented with an award. Because Aida and John are also away, Robin and Roe enlist help to look after Sophie. But in the small hours of Sunday morning, Roe wakes to a crying baby, an absent helper and, on searching, a dead body in the backyard. Roe’s not operating on all cylinders in this episode, but stil [...]

    12. Thanks to @StMartinsPress for the #ARC of the newest book in the Aurora Teagarden Series. This one picks up in Roe's life and it wouldn't be Roe's life if there wasn't a murder and/or a mystery to solved. She's got the flu with a baby her hands are full. So with help she settles into a deep sleep only to be awoken to a dead body in the backyard and a MIA babysitter. Such a fun quick murder mystery read. Can't wait for more. #aurorateagarden

    13. SLEEP LIKE A BABY just didn't do much for me. I don't know what happened, but if this is the new Aurora Teagarden, I won't be reading much more. There was a mystery in SLEEP LIKE A BABY, but my goodness was it boring getting to the answers. We get more information on how Aurora feeds, changes and takes care of her baby than solving any mystery that was supposed to be included in the story. I get it, she's a new mom, but if I wanted to read about the care and feeding of a baby, I would have picke [...]

    14. Aurora Teagarden is a new nursing mother in this one. Her husband, Robin, has to go away to a convention to receive an award. Aurora has Philip to help her and Robin hires a nanny for the nights because Ro has a whopping cold which turns into the flu. On the night the flu seems to be the worst, the babysitter disappears and Ro finds a dead body in her yard. Of course she has a pair of neighbors who complain about the disruption during the night. When Robin returns (after winning a prestigious aw [...]

    15. Reviewed for herding cats & burning soup.: amzn/2y4lzsHYall. This is one of my favorite series from back in the day. And getting more of them 10+ years later yeeee! Gimme! Things are never calm for Aurora and Robin. A new baby, a missing babysitter, a stalker from the past? Oh, my! Not to mention family drama and some local crazies? Whew boy! Lot to handle when you're a new mama like our Roe. And it was such a good time!I could not put Sleep Like a Baby down! The characters are what get me. R [...]

    16. As much as I loved Charlaine Harris' Lily Bard mysteries and the Midnight, Texas novels, I've never been a fan of the Aurora Teagarden mysteries. But, Harris and Aurora are popular enough that there's a Hallmark mystery series. Even so, I found the tenth book, Sleep Like a Baby to be slow, with a whiny Aurora.Aurora finally has her baby at the beginning of the book. Two months later, she's still dealing with the lack of sleep and breastfeeding when her husband, Robin, has to go out of town to Bo [...]

    17. Sleep Like a Baby is the 10th installment in the delightful Aurora Teagarden mystery series by New York Times bestselling author Charlaine Harris. This series has been one of my favorites ever since I read the first, Real Murders, many years ago. In this latest volume, Roe and her husband Robin are settling down to parenthood with their newborn daughter, when Roe comes down with a bad case of the flu at the same time Robin has to leave town for a prestigious award ceremony. They hire a nanny to [...]

    18. 3.5 stars. This series of cozy mysteries by Charlaine Harris is quite different from the Sookie Stackhouse novels. I have to say it is refreshing to read a cozy without a love triangle, a with a main character actually being sensible about the police and putting herself in danger. In this installment, Aurora Teagarden has recently had a baby, and she is dealing with being a new mother and a bout of the flu, while her husband is out of town. When someone ends up dead in her back yard, Aurora inve [...]

    19. In this installment of the Aurora (Roe) Teagarden series, we have a new mystery to uncover. Roe has delivered little Sophia and is unable to go to the awards ceremony that Robin has been nominated in for one of his books. As he gets ready to leave for the weekend, Roe is starting to feel unwell. Robin calls in the help of caregiver, Virginia to help with Sophia at nights while he is gone. As the weekend progresses, Roe is feeling worse and worse. She can barely function past breastfeeding Sophia [...]

    20. Update: Removed rating as a favor to her dedicated fans. Bless them for their fortitude in continuing to follow her. Have to rate it to get it to stop appearing as a recommendation. After the ending of Sookie Stackhouse, will never read this author again.

    21. It is no secret that I am a tried and true Charlaine Harris fan. If there is a book she’s written, I’ve read it. Her worlds are easy to get lost in and her characters are easy to love. Aurora Teagarden is no exception. Roe has always been one of my favorite characters. Whether it’s her career as a librarian (and therefore love for books!), her penchant for finding herself wound up in murder mysteries (how could there be so many in such a small town, one has to wonder), or her way of moving [...]

    22. I love good mystery that's what you get from the author of the True Blood horror author but isn't a Sookie but Aurora Teagarden crime books. This no.10.I read all the others too. This book with hardly any suspects except one who has cast iron Albi but the best motive Robin The husband of Aurora!Twist & turns from murder, burglary ,shootings & wet nappys .

    23. Well. How disappointing this was. I waited. Pre-ordered. Stopped in the middle of a Ken Follett book to read it. And then not the Aurora Teagarden I expected. When did she get so wishy-washy?! Why is she consulting a TELEPHONE BOOK at the same time there are references to cell phone pings and other advanced technology?! I had this figured out way too early in the read. I feel like this one was phoned in, and I may be done with this cozy mystery series.

    24. I really enjoyed Sleep Like A Baby by Charlaine Harris, probably because I like the characters so much - especially Aurora (Roe) Teagarden. What a great name!Fast-paced, comforting in the everyday - very relatable, even with the inclusion of an intriguing murder mystery (right in their own backyard!) - and, best of all, highly entertaining! I am looking forward to the next Aurora Teagarden Mystery!

    25. Roe and Robin are getting used to being parents to their baby Sophie. Roe is breast feeding and her life revolves around feeding and caring for her new baby. When Robin, who is up for an Anthony award, goes to Bouchercon, Roe doesn't want to tell him that she is coming down with the flu. She calls in Virginia Mitchell who helped when she and Sophie were just home from the hospital. Virginia will be there at night while Robin is gone. Roe gets sicker and sicker but between Virginia and Roe's youn [...]

    26. I have long been a fan of Aurora Teagarden series. I am please to see another book on this series and hope there will be more.Roe is coming to understand herbnew feelings as she cares for Sophie. Robin leaves town for prestigious book event as Roe is coming down the flu. Robin calls Virginia Mitchell to help with Sophie. One night Virginia disappeared and Robin's stalker is found dead in the backyard. The twists this book takes will take you on a journey through Roe's life and the ending will ca [...]
