    1. Great readTime to help a new planet become free! Who is trying to stop Cain and the Marines from doing what they do. Wow the Hillcats save the day! Ok when does the next one come out!! You can not keep us hanging!!!

    2. Another great book in this series. I was happy to see them return to the last planet. I liked the internal politics keeping them apart, it was suspenseful and fun. I think the resolution happened a little too easily without much explanation with cats just being cats and pwning everyone. However, I will say, I love the attitude of the cats in this book. It reminds me of Jim Butcher's new Steampunk series. Cats are the true intelligent species in our galaxy. They sure act like it!

    3. I very rarely leave a 5 star review of a book. I thought this book has sections with Cain and the Hillcats smart sassy remarks to each other funny. That a half Hillcat from Prince De'tesh's Dalliance with a streetcat would take a blood-bond with Cain to keep him out of trouble, The two misfits get into more trouble than anyone should. The person behind Cain's problem on Cygnus Vii reads a bit like a sleuth mystery to me. Why someone would want to keep Cain's Cygnus Marines on Vii when getting the [...]

    4. I love this seriesThis book was fantastic. Full of the characters we have come to love, human and animal alike, it's like revisiting old friends and seeing what they are up to now. Building a Marine unit, Cain has discovered someone is out to kill him. The mystery remains unsolved in this book but does not take away from all the excitement and action. Just makes me want to read the next book, even sooner!

    5. Sci-fi and fantasy all rolled into one.I have read all of the books, in this series, and have to say, each one is better than the previous one. I highly suggest that you check these books out as you will see the flavor of Sci-fi, Fantasy, and with enough sarcasm and humor to keep you highly entertained!

    6. Great readI enjoyed reading it very much. There is a lot of humor as well as action. I look forward to the next book in the series.
