    1. Cozy Author Kathi Daley takes readers on a haunted Halloween weekend on a spooky private island with a castle like Dracula's, Goth people, coffins, dead bodies (or, are they?), and a bizarre wedding (to be, or not to be?). Lani Pope, her boyfriend, Luke Austin, and her roommates, Cameron and Kekoa find themselves about to be scared stiff as they fumble through the maze of horrors and try to find a way to escape the island.

    2. Imagine attending a wedding in a large, spooky castle on a beautiful private Hawaiian island with a gothic theme complete with vampires, Dracula, mummy, coffins, and spooky guests. Morticia (a/k/a Tisha) and her fiancé, Ivan have invited Lani and Kekoa to attend her Halloween night wedding on Ivan’s, private island. Lani and Kekoa invited Luke and Cameron to be their plus-ones for the specular four-day wedding event. Before the wedding starts a storm hits the island, the power goes on and off [...]

    3. A Page TurnerMurder at the Witching Hour is the third book in Kathi Daley’s Sand and Sea Hawaiian Mystery series and is an awesome read. I love Ms. Daley’s writing style and she has once again succeeded in writing a wonderfully crafted whodunit that kept my interest throughout the entire story. This is a well-plotted mystery with a cast of well-developed, realistic, and likeable characters. The story has enough twists, turns, and suspects to keep the reader involved. I highly recommend this [...]

    5. Who doesn't love a great Halloween mystery??? This book was boooootifully written. Once you started reading you can't stop. Such a great gothic wedding destination on an island with a castle made to look like Dracula's castle. Each of the characters in this series are totally tubular:) Old surfer term. Lani and Luke are invited to this wedding and from the start Lani is picking up some weird vibes. Then people begin to drop like flies! You would think being on an island in the middle of nowhere [...]

    7. This was appropriately creepy for the Halloween season. Lani and her cousin are invited to an old school friend's wedding to be held on Halloween on her future husband's private island. Though a little surprised at this sudden unexplained invitation, they accept and bring along Luke and Cam as their guests. On the ship across, they also meet the groom's estranged brother, as well as the bride's estranged sister. With the island full of servants dressed as Halloween characters, and the groom's gu [...]

    8. This is another great story by Kathi Daley. I am never disappointed with one of her books. Wedding. Private island. Halloween. Tropical storm. Murder. A great set up for a captivating read. I loved this book and highly recommend it!

    9. Different genreAwesome author. This tale leaves everyone stranded on an island near Hawaii. Dark goth characters bring murder and mayhem to unsuspecting wedding guests. And there's no escape

    10. Absolutely fantastic story until the resolution of the crisis by three coincidences and one deus ex machina.

    15. Spoiler Free Review:Murder at the Witching Hour (Sand and Sea Hawaiian Mystery Book 3)When reading a review I am looking for cues that tell me if I am going to enjoy a book not a summary. So if that is you her we go.I found Kathi Daley several years ago and quickly became a fan. She writes a clean enjoyable book. The books are well plotted and the plots are multithreaded. She understands her genre and stays true to it. Above all Kathi is a story teller. There are many people who can write but th [...]

    16. Aloooohalloween! What could be more romantic than a wedding on a private Hawaiian island? Not much, unless you consider the Goth theme, the Dracula inspired castle, and the Halloween nuptials. It wasn't going to be your typical affair with an array of guests ranging from estranged family, old high school classmates, Goth enthusiasts, and a staff dressed as undertakers, vampires, and mummies. But, Kailani Pope, Lani to her friends, has more than an uneasy feeling about having been invited to the [...]

    17. Wow! This is an amazing book! Murder at the Witching Hour is the third book in the Sand and Sea series and I think it's the best one in the series so far! Lani, Luke and the gang are guests at what is supposed to be a four day wedding event on a private island. But things are very strange. The groom and his friends/guests are very into goth, and everything is black. The house is really castle that looks like something out of Dracula. Cam and Kekoa temporarily disappear without a trace and there [...]

    18. What could be more perfect for the Halloween season than a themed destination wedding?Set that wedding in a replicate Dracula castle on an island. Are the groom and his friends really dedicated to a goth lifestyle or is this a role they have taken on?Gather all the friends together (think ala Scooby Doo) and have the bride "unavailable" to entertain her guests, in fact, even her own sister has not seen her.Things are just not adding up for a happily ever after.I loved the dark, atmosphere surroun [...]

    19. Murder at the Witching Hour is the book 3 in Kathi Daley’s Sand and Sea Hawaiian Mystery series. It is the perfect book to read to get us in the spirit of upcoming Halloween. Our friends in this series get invited to a island wedding but a girl that Lani And Kekoa knew from school. They had lost touch with the bride to be but Lani accepted the invitation for herself and Kekoa and 2 dates. What could be better to spend 4 days on a private island for a romantic island. Not exactly. They arrive a [...]

    20. Ms. Daley has done it again.written another cozy mystery that draws you in from the first page and holds your attention until the last word. Add in the fact that this series is set in Hawaii, with plenty of descriptions of the beauty of the area, and it's a TRUE winner. This Halloween story will keep you on the edge of your seat, and turning pages quickly to get to the next one and find out how it is all going to play out. It starts out as the story of a Halloween themed wedding and quickly becom [...]

    21. This book is third in the series but my first read. This is a very different kind of cozy mystery. I felt like the whole Goth thing was a very unique phase but made it more fitting. I kept picturing the private island and Dracula's castle in my mind. There were a lot of shady things going on main stage and on the sidelines. I thought it was a good book and want to read the rest. I enjoyed getting to know the characters- there were a lot of them to keep straight. I was glad for the cast of charac [...]

    22. More intense This is the book 3 in the sea and sand Hawaiian mystery series . Can be read as a standalone since there are a lot of new characters in this book . Lani and Kekoa run into an old high school friend who has invited them to her private island wedding . Sounds perfect right ? Wrong ! The host or into the Goth and really partaking in the lifestyle. The wedding party is kept separate from the guest , coffins are starting to fill up with bodies , and there is no reception for them to call [...]

    23. Wow talk about a book keeping you totally immersed and on the edge of your seat -- this book definitely does that. Lani, Luke , Kekoa, and Cameron go to a weekend wedding event on an island that is nothing like any wedding event you can imagine. Twists and turns every which way an lots of mystery with murder plus having no way off the island and no cell phone reception definitely makes this a page turner. Well developed characters and an great plot makes this story one you don't want to miss. Th [...]

    24. Kindle Copy for ReviewWeddings are supposed to be a joyous time; especially, on a private island in Hawaii.Lani runs into a friend from high school that she had not lost touch and is invited with her cousin to her wedding. The wedding is on Halloween and the guests will be in costumes as their friend has become rather gothic with tattoos and piercings.Things are not as they appear as bodies are found in coffins. Is it real or is it an act? Add a mysterious groom who is fascinated with Dracula an [...]

    25. I loved this book, the only thing I wish is that I had read it closer to Halloween. Lani, Kekoa, Luke and Cam are invited to a Goth wedding on a private island. You know you are in for a fun read when you get to see a few of the characters waiting to go to the island. When they get there is gets even more bizarre. This story will take you on plenty of twists that will keep you guessing. I did not figure it out at all, but it is satisfactorily explained. Great characters, interesting setting and [...]

    26. Another amazing book filled with suspense and mystery. Wow I loved the plot to this book. This book was definitely different for the other stories Kathi has written. This was the perfect story to an early Halloween. I was excited that the characters at the castle were all dressed up. It was the perfect destination wedding at an Island with a castle that simulated that of Dracula. Unfortunately it wasn't as perfect as it sounds. It was a dark story with secrets and of course of murders. Thanks fo [...]

    27. Halloween TrickeryKathi has brought us another well plotted mystery. In this 3rd installment we go along with Lani and friends to attend a wedding set on a spooky private island. Vampires, goths, and ghosts abound as she tries to decide what is really going on and who to trust. I was on the edge of my seat through the whole book and was pleasantly surprised in the end. Kathi always leaves me ready for what is to come next!!!

    28. A great Halloween treatThis is the third book in the Sand and Sea mystery. BUT if you haven't read the first two and want a quick Halloween Mystery this is for you. You won't be lost as to who is who and Kathy Daley gives you a awesome list of characters. It read like the game clue or a murder mystery party story, which is a treat. My only complaint it a shorter mystery. I read it in a few hours, which if you want a fast read, you won't be disappointed.
