    1. This is a sweet book about a frog finding his way and for the first time catch his own food. Harry attempts to catch and eat many creatures however in the end finds some food that is just right for him and all the creatures he encountered along the way. Illustrations are bright and simple and text is laid out in a way that the reader can make predictions about what will happen on the next page.

    2. This book was a very cute but and would be a popular one with students. It had beautiful illustrations with lots of color which would keep their eyes focused on the book. It is a good read to teach students a little bit about animals and it was also a book fun enough to learn from and enjoy.

    3. This is a good book to use inference with. Before each page is turned, the reader can ask the listener to give feedback on what they think will happen. Doing so builds excitement through the story.

    4. This keeps the readers attention for the young A great book to share again and again. Nice graphics and Illustrations.

    5. A little frog is finally old enough to find his own food, but every bug he comes across makes a good case for not being dinner. Finally Harry comes across a picnic that doesn't squirm or beg or run. "Best of all, there's enough for everyone!" I would have given it five stars if it'd been a vegetarian picnic they were sharing. I suppose we'll pretend that's a tofu dog. Otherwise this book makes no sense.

    6. Harry is a frog that goes out in search of food. But it seems that every time he tries to eat something, it gets away. This is a cute book with cute illustrations and a bit of a predictive story structure.

    7. This book is great! The illustrations are excellent. I would use this book for prediction as to what Harry is going to eat, and why he doesn't get to eat them. I would use this book for a whole group read-aloud, possibly just for fun, for kindergartners or pre-kindergartners.

    8. This story is about a young frog in search of a yummy treat. He meets some interesting friends along the way and finds lots to eat in the end.

    9. This is one of my favorite children's book. Harry learns a great lesson in this book. My kids just love this book, and must find another one because my kids have worn this book out.
