    1. Absolutely one of the most memorable stories I've read. It was not only romantic but the paranormal suspense was incredible. So much more than simple romance. Totally recommend this to add to your TBR holiday lists!!!*This is a revised edition. Original, which is no longer available was much shorter*"The Holiday Spirit" All She Wants for Christmas Is A Ghost is written by author Dani Harper.Every November I filter in Christmas romances in between my usual reading. By mid December, I'm reading mo [...]

    2. 3 1/2 Holiday Magic Stars!I liked this story a lot. It had a fantastic cast of characters! Galen and Kerri are good together, but it was not just them I fell for in the story. Aunt Libby, Fred, and especially Everett and Waldo; I loved them all. This is a very sweet Christmas/Yule story with magic and a sinister dangerous element to it. Galen has been separated from his body by an evil entity and time is running out to save him and reconnect his body and spirit. Kerri, Galen and the rest of the [...]

    3. All she wants for Christmas is a ghost…The Holiday Spirit is a festive paranormal urban fantasy romance to be savored. The cover drew me in first. I’ve seen two covers for this book and they’re both stunning. I purchased it last year but didn’t get around to reading it until now - obviously my loss as I already want to read it again. It’s well-written with realistic characters you will want as your friends. I adored everything about his book! The two main characters are Kerri Tollbrook, [...]

    4. Just finished reading "The Holiday Spirit" by Dani Harper and I really loved it <3 - I only have one complaint - I couldn't put it down and was late back from my lunch break (twice) cos I got so caught up in story, excellent - a love story with a fantasy twist, evil element, good ghosts, Soul mates and witch craft whats not to like, so hard not to make any spoiler comments (I personally hate reviews that give away a story line) so wont say any more x x x if you've not already done so, make su [...]

    5. I absolutely loved this book! Was hooked from start to finish! The characters are easy to love, the villain creepy and the story engrossing! So good!

    6. Barely OK for meSo, at 63% I still have no idea what Galen or Kerri or Everett or Aunt Libby look like, except I think the book might have said something about Kerri having red hair. AND, for God’s sake, why does he have a hoodie pulled up over his face? It was mentioned that Kerri had him pull it down so she could see what he looked like but then he pulled it back up again, and she talks of shadows around his face. Really? Why? The only people I know of who wear their hood up are kids and bad [...]

    7. Review will be posted atbooks-n-kisses MBER OF HEARTS: 3I didn’t read the original version of this story. But I did enjoy this revised story that Ms. Harper wrote. I liked Kerri and her ability to see and speak to ghost. I really like Galen!! Who doesn’t like a hot firefighter? I loved their first encounter, it had me laughing. I enjoyed the love story and how it grew over the course of this book. I do hope that this will not be the last time that we see these two. I would like to know what [...]

    8. I LOVED THIS BOOK! It was a heartwarming tale that had believable, real characters that made you want to get to know them. I definitely want to live in Kerri's neighborhood! I'm not a big Christmas person, but I really enjoyed this holiday story. The holiday was artfully woven through the story. It didn't club you over the head with it, like other authors sometimes can. I definitely love Waldo! It's just a great, well written story.

    9. Totally loved this book stayed up and finished it since I started it before I went to bed. Galen a hot firefighter yes please loved how Kerri could see and talk to Ghosts I've always wanted to be able to do that I was laughing in parts of this book and tore up in others will read this book again

    10. Seeing ghosts is her special gift and meeting up with the life force of a young fire fighter on her way from shopping gives her life a new directionYou have to read this story for yourself to catch all its surprises. A Holiday read that entertains with as much magic as is in the story itself. I love it.

    11. Good bookSlow going at first, but picks up speed in the middle. This is the first book I have read by this author. Would read more of her works.

    12. A Great StoryA fun fast enjoyable read. No time to get bored. I just found another authors work to look out for. Try it you will not regret the purchase.

    13. The Holiday Spirit by Dani Harper is s sweet story I just could not get enough of. I liked the paranormal twists to the holidays. It is a take I had not seen before but would like to read more about in the future.Kerri is kinda the ghost whisperer of her day. She can talk to ghosts, help them resolve their problems so they can move on. She has always seen ghosts since she was a child. They don't scare her or freak her out. Most people think Kerri talks to herself a lot because they cannot see th [...]

    14. Let me just get it out now: this book was one of the best paranormal romances that I have ever read. The story was completely engrossing and I quickly became totally immersed in it. I absolutely loved the H and found it easy to identify with the h (even though we are nothing alike!) and really believed in their story. We all know that barring a series there will be a HE, but this book had me wondering how on Earth it would happen! The author has the ability to make the reader invested in the sto [...]

    15. Not sure on romantic ghost stories, but Galen wasn't quite a ghost. Kerri has the ability to see, hear, and communicate with ghosts. She has a whole system setup for helping them. It's actually kinda interesting how she goes about doing that (with help of course). Galen is a healthy firefighter who suddenly becomes comatose. His soul (or whatever you want to call it) wonders and finds Kerri. They connect. The ending was a bit convenient, but hey, I wanted a happy ending. Good shower scene.

    16. Will definitely look for other books by this author! This was a really fun read - great characters, interesting plot, and some unique twists! It was exactly as the summary and excerpt revealed and was just what I wanted! It only took a day to read as I just had to know how it ended! While I reserve 5 star reviews for Harry Potter and Pride & Prejudice, I use 4 stars for books that I not only enjoyed reading once but can see myself reading again. If you enjoy quirky paranormal fun then this is [...]

    17. I enjoyed this story. It grabbed my attention from the very beginning and kept it there the whole time. The story was easy to follow without lots of twists and turns to confuse you. The characters were likeable. You did care what happened to them. Warning-There is graphic sex in this story so I would not recommend it for children. I would recommend it for anyone interested in urban fantasy and paranormal

    18. A Merry Christmas indeed. Like all of her books, Dani Harper wins with this story. I laughed, cried and was excited throughout the story. I loved Galen and Kelly. The plot flowed and the characters were amazing. It made me want to celebrate the Yule season and cozy up with a life changed friend. Love love loved it.

    19. I just fell in love with the cover and wanted so much to read the book. Dani Harper is a new author for me and I loved the book as much as the cover. It's a fun book to read and I highly recommend it. It's one of those books you don't want to put down! Now I'm going to go to and start to look for some more of her books.

    20. I really enjoyed this book. It had romance, paranormal suspense, and an interesting (HOT!) shower scene. All the characters were engaging and contributed to the storyline. A recommended read anytime, not only at Christmas.
