    1. L.S. O'Dea, You nailed it. The story starts straight from where we left it in the Lake of Sins : Escape. Full adventurous and action packed chapters are served into your plate and such enjoyable nourishment it becomes for your starving curiosity. The best part is that it increases your appetite for Linda's work even more.It was fascinating to see the whole world of Almighty, Guards and Servants from the perspectives of Almighty and Guards. Those people had knowledge and experiences of what had h [...]

    2. Well, I decided not to leave you all hanging on too long for the review for the follow up of Escape: Lake of Sins #1. Needless to say, I jumped right into the second book, Secrets in Blood, of the Lake of Sins series. As expected, book number two does NOT disappoint! O'Dea picks up right where Escape left off, which was the perfect way to begin this book. There was no time jumping or guessing to be done once you began to read. We continue the almost unbelievable journey of our protagonist and he [...]

    3. anaslair.wordpress/2015/0Premise: Secrets in Blood is the sequel to Escape, part of the Lake of Sins series, where we meet Trinity and her breath taking fantasy, dystopian world. In the last novel, Trinity discovered some very harsh truths about her reality, and this book follows up where Escape left us. Review: This was, as the previous book, quite a ride. As before, I loved many things: - Trinity, our main character is quite likeable. She is honourable, and as Mirra keeps telling her, has too [...]

    4. I did like this book. After reading the first one I started this one straight away. Then I hit a reading slump. Which I can't really blame on this book, which has a good story. Though I thought it dragged out a bit, which didn't help. I think there is a good chance I will read the next book some day, but right now I will need a little break. But if you enjoyed the first book I'm pretty sure you will like this as well :)

    5. An even better read than Escape. There is more action, sometimes gory action. The transition from one characters point of view to another is one of the best I've read. It was a great way of experiencing things that would effect Trinity, instead of her just being told. I hope there's more to come from the Lake of Sins.

    6. Next one pleaseSo you left off with them being safe on the island. But what happens next. Does trinity flow her heart with Heathrow. How does hugh's research come out. Do Jackson and Kim work out. Next book please

    7. I am an omnivore, but I think after finishing this book last night, I'm going to stick to a veggie diet for a bit. At least until I can get a certain image or two from the ending of this book out of my mind.O'Dea's Secrets in Blood is the excellent follow up novel to Escape, a dark fantasy series that depicts a world where most large creatures are extinct, and those that remain have been genetically bred or altered to perform certain tasks. The Almightys are the closest to humans, who seem to co [...]

    8. I loved this book even more than the first book because in this book the uprising really takes place and although many creatures die from all classes many break free for the first time in their lives and this is all thanks to the bravery of one girl, Trinity, part producer and part house servant but maybe also part almighty on her father's side without knowing this! She together with her friends and protectors the tracker Mirra and the handler Gaar do all in their power to free all the others in [...]

    9. Wonderfully dark!In the world is in chaos as war begins. The creatures are all stirring, in the day as well as night, now that they're bound in a common goal. To the Allied Classes, wiping out the Almighty and the control they've had on everyone is paramount. This is a gripping read, full of action, blood, danger, and even some romance. I received an advanced copy of the book for an honest review, and you don't want to miss out on this one. this second book of the Lake of Sins series Trinity has [...]

    10. In this second book of the Lake of Sins series Trinity has learned more from Gaar and Mira about survival in the wild of the forest. Unfortunately she's learned more of the truth about the rest of the world and what a Producers life is really about in the big picture. Trinity is kind and generous with helping others but not everything goes according to plan. There are captures, rescues, double crosses, and blood. How much death can she take? How is she going to help the other Producers live a fr [...]

    11. “Secrets in blood” is the second book in the “Lake of sins” series and picks straight up where the first book left off.Fast paced we are propelled into the life of Trinity who is on the run and tries compassionately in the meantime to help all the creatures she calls friends. As the terrible story unfolds a few of the characters are in for a lot of eye openers.I enjoyed every minute of this book and am ready to start book three.

    12. Wow, I really enjoyed this one, the action came thick and fast. Better even than number 1. Now I have to go and get number 3 to find out what happens.

    13. Wow, what an amazing next book to continue the story. Impossible to put it down and when you're done, really don't want it to end. Thank goodness there's another one.

    14. The second instalment in the Lake of Sins series, and even more enthralling than the first! As the story of the Producers' fate is exposed (in all its gruesome detail), and the difference between the classes narrows, the reader's drawn inexorably into the action and adventure surrounding Trinity and her friends, and what will become of them all.I loved this book, and couldn't put it down until I'd finished. Cannot wait to read the rest of the series now, to find out if they can truly change thei [...]

    15. This is the second book in the Lake of Sins series and it built greatly on the groundwork laid in “Escape” the previous book.Trinity’s quest to find out what happens to the producers once they are removed from camp continues and she’s put in even more danger as more people become interested in her. She’s being hunted now as her parentage has come into question and the idea of interclass mating is explored. This is gruesome fantasy writingThere’s a social structure to this world the aut [...]

    16. I received a free copy of this book in return for an honest review.Lake Of Sins: Secrets in Blood by LS O’Dea picks up where the first book Lake Of Sins: Escape left off. It continues the captivating story of the main protagonist Trinity and her mission to rescue the Producers and Trackers with the help of Mira and Gar. Trinity is still a very likeable character and remains a strong heroine in this book. It is easy to empathise with the characters in this book because it is so well written and [...]

    17. Lake of Sins: Secrets in Blood, the second book in the Lake of Sins series starts right where Escape ends. Having already set up the world this book takes you right into the action. Even the chapters that are more of a setup read fast. You also get a better understanding of how this world works. Book 1, Escape, was told from Trinity and Troy's POV. They are both Producers. They have a very limited knowledge of the world. That left a lot of unanswered questions for many readers. This book will ans [...]

    18. "Lake of Sins Secrets in Blood" by LS O'Dea immediately takes up where "Lake of Sins-Escape" ends and in my opinion is not a stand alone book. Now that Trinity knows what happens to "harvest listers" and she has said her goodbyes to her mother, she has come to terms with living with Gaar and Mirra in the forest and to assist them with freeing the other trackers and handlers. This story introduces several heroic and disturbing characters to our storyline. This book continues with the most disturb [...]

    19. L.O.S. Secrets of Blood picks up right after book #1 was left. At this point, you are familiar with all the characters and descriptions, so the reading is fast since page one.Once again, the Author delivers a fantastic read!!! Excellent written, with brilliant changes of points of view, great dialogues and more gripping situations. The journey of our beloved characters is really entertaining, I'm really wishing that is going to be a part three. This is a MUST read!!!*I received a Free copy in exc [...]

    20. l received this book for free through Firstreadslt took a few pages to get into the story (which l found to be too farfetched for my liking) but once there l enjoyed reading it. Gruesome in parts but this was necessary to the plot. The two characters l was rooting for the most were Tim and Hugh Trent. l recommend the book if you enjoy 'what if' novels,

    21. OutstandingIt was almost like the Hungry Games with so much action and many different adventures. I loved how it turned out with Trinity and everyone she met willing to help. It's a fight against racism and living together in peace.
