    1. A rather peculiar book. A lot of interesting, amusing or worrying anecdotes about a life in the Northamptonshire town of Corby. No real structure to the book, however. It seemed to jump back and forth in time and to dart about in terms of subject or characters. I quite enjoyed it, but did find the structure a tad offputting.
