    1. This book, was an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING READ!!As a native South Floridian, I was totally enthralled with this book! Could not put it down!! Such Awesome characters, that you get to feel like you know them. It takes me back to camping and fishing, and spending time with friends and family, as I grew up. And we still dislike, what has become of the state we were children in. Children today, have no idea of camping on an island, nor playing in the woods.

    2. This book was hard to get into - was ready to stop after the first four chapters - but it did get better as it went on. I wouldn't recommend this book though. Too many characters - unbelievable plot. Political bias etc. The 1700's back story is what kept me reading - that part of the book was very good. The rest? Totally unbelievable situations and unrealistic plot.

    3. Native Lands is a gripping and entertaining thriller with depth, wonderful characters and well-planted parallels between the two engaging narratives. There is a beautiful and warm feel of Native Lands and an excellent and uplifting moral that won’t lecture or patronize. A truly great read.“Native Lands” by P.C. His wife and son disappeared five years ago in a Spanish raid. He notices Mali. The beautiful woman is the only one who doesn't flirt with Locka. Emily is a business owner, wife, and mother of a challenging teen. Her husband Daniel demonstrates his skill in Machi [...]

    5. “Native Lands” by P.C. Zick is a great read about the battle of money power and nature. Zick is a journalist who writes about nature and her love for nature. This book is one of the books you would like to read if you like nature and historical fictions. The story is based in Florida, and is jumping in time (I truly love these kind of books), Present and the late 18th Century, the Spanish invasion, British too, which took a toll of native people lives and nature. Zick captures the momentum a [...]
