    1. First -- the cutesy title I fear loses some would-be readers as this novella will not show up in a mail-order search. The bride is actually a widow who is caretaker for her father who is suffering from what eventually sounds like dementia. They live next door to a hotel/saloon. The bride is determined to find a husband who wants to help Colorado grow. And according to the bride, there is not one man in all of Colorado who can do that. Probably would have read better if the author had written "no [...]

    2. I love the subject of mail order brides, the old west and cowboys so you would think this would be a no brainer. Not so. I finished the story just as I did the other two in the series, shaking my head at the lack of plot, the silly characters, just the overall 'Why was this ever written' question. The story was as strange as the others.

    3. Great storyLove reading about the mail order brides this book had a twist with the husband being the one coming to the west to marry but love the fact that this sort of thing really happened back then and it worked.

    4. I liked this book. It is a novella, however, I thought the author did a good job developing the characters. The story is a bit rushed, but it of course that is what you expect. I could just see how this little glimpse into the lives of Mary and Jack could turn into a full length novel.
