    1. This is a clinical text aimed at mental health practitioners, so would be of little use to anyone approaching this subject from the field of entertainment or stage hypnosis. It doesn’t show you how to induce a state of trance, applying the indirect safeguard of legitimacy that you should have already been taught that in professional study. It isn’t about a hypnotist clicking their fingers and then issuing Svengali-style commands either. Instead it concerns implanting subconscious suggestions [...]

    2. It has useful scripts that I use with my patients. It provides scripts and metaphors for a variety of different problems patients may be experiencing. I found it very helpful for clinical hypnosis.

    3. Encyclopaedic but shallow, and overpriced. Better to learn to -compose- metaphors like a master. But for that, you need experience or an astonishing teacher I had both.

    4. Corydon Hammond is well regarded by hypnotherapists in the know. His thoughtful words are insightful and reflect deep wisdom in the field. This book in particular is a must have for people who do hypnosis on a regular basis. It covers many bases from medical issues to habit modification to mental health problems. The articles are short, eclectic, helpful and written by luminaries up to and including Milton Erickson. It is an essential piece of my reference library on hypnosis and well thumbed. H [...]

    5. A super resource for the practitioner regardless of profession. Many, many helpful suggestions and hints to enable the appropriate therapy to reach target. The text gives scripts, "stories", and suggestions for you to utilize in your practice. This is a great source for ideas in framing suggestion. The book contains brief introduction to Ericksonian hypnotic language patterns / how to formulate hypnotic and posthypnotic suggestions with 14 major sections of short hypnotherapy scripts for dealing [...]

    6. One of the best and most amazing reference books for ANYONE working in the mental health and psychotherapy fields. Wonderfully separated with real examples as well as excellent explanations of Ericksonian techniques. Well worth the investment.

    7. The most amazing collection of hypnotherapy scripts. I think I will be referring to this gem for years to come!

    8. Love this book , full of great ideas and scripts to pick from and make your own / adapt to your individual client's
