    1. This is an adorable little book about a small, young bird who wants to show and tell every member of his family everything he encounters throughout the day, but they are too busy to notice him. This book has cute, simple illustrations that are sure to delight young children. The story has a good morale behind it about appreciating those around you and the author made it simple enough for very early readers (and listeners) to benefit from. I read this book with my twin toddlers and they greatly e [...]

    2. Little Bird can talk a mile a minute which gets on the nerves of his friends and family. When he spends some time with himself in the forest, his loved ones miss him and try to find him to fill the silence in his absence. Kind words bring Little Bird out of his hiding place and make for a happy ending. The story was okay, but the artwork was a real treat. Little Bird and his friends are made from felt sculptures and photographed in diorama-like settings. PreK-2.

    3. I was drawn to the cute little felt stuffed animal illustrations style but close up the uneven stitching detracted from the cuteness factor. Seems like a lot of text for size of book, story line, and intended audience.

    4. Do you know a little one who has lots and lots of stories, jokes, and questions for you? This might just be the book for them, and you! julianaleewriter/books-ali

    5. I really like the illustrations in this book. The story is okay, but I don't like that the littlest one is shushed all the time. Yes, the others in the story realize in the end how much Little Bird contributes to the community as a whole, but still.Okay for toddler and preschool storytimes.

    6. I enjoyed the illustrations, they remind me of the stop-motion animation in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. The dad bird wearing a tie made me laugh. Overall the story itself is pretty forgettable.

    7. Little bird can not be quiet so he leaves to find a place where his talking does not bother other animals.

    8. notes: little bird won't stop talking but everyone misses him when he's goneopinions: meh. like the illustrations but the plot wasn't for unique enough for me
