    1. This is the third book is the Friends series. Whilst this is a stand alone book, it is certainly advisable to read the second book of the series, Awaiting My Assignment, as this third book continues on from and references a number of characters/events pertaining to Awaiting My Assignment. It's not as important to read the first book, Sunset Island (although it's a nice read too). This is my favorite of the three books to date.4.5 stars.

    2. I felt the same way about this book as I did the rest of the series, I loved it! Jo and Stacy are easy to like, and I want to read more about them! Again, the ladies from the other books make an appearance, but they do not detract from the two main characters of this book. I can only hope we will see more of all of them! Thank you AJ for sharing these women with us!

    3. Amanda, Mallory, Nick and Dana, friends from AJ Adaire’s series Sunset Island, Awaiting My Assignment and Anything Your Heart Desires, decide to set up a translation business and offer language training together. Their new office is overlooked by an intrigued author, Stacy, who realizes her plot issues could be solved by making her character a lesbian.Enter policewoman Jo Martin, friend of Mallory’s. Injured, in need of help, and an obvious candidate to teach the ‘straight’ Stacy all abo [...]

    4. A good book for women questioning their sexualityA good book for women questioning their sexualityAdair's books are nice reads but this one left me twiddling my thumbs trying to get through it. It's too much of a primer reading book for most, but great for any woman searching for information on what being a lesbian is all about, whether straight and questioning or newly out. That aside, the characters are wellveloped, but stilted in their dialogue, and they're just a little too perfect. The main [...]

    5. I read this book sometime ago and had not added a review, What can you say about the story telling of A J Adaire, she captures your heart with her characters and makes you almost live their stories. This one reunites us with old friends from Awaiting My Assignment, Amanda, Mallory, Nic and Dana as well as Jo, the Policewoman who helped find Amanda. Stacy, a writer currently trying to complete a crime novel enlists the help of Jo to gain a better understanding of what it means to be a lesbian. Pr [...]

    6. Enjoyable, Engaging, Witty and EnchantingFrom the Novelette to the full out Novels, the Friends series was fun to read. I loved the main characters in each right away and was touched by their stories and happy with the outcome, for these couples made you want to cheer for them. I hope there will be more to come for the smaller characters mentioned and I will certainly be reading more books by this Author. Bravo!

    7. How does it feel to love someone of the same sex? Answer: it feels awesome! Will you be there when I need you? Answer: a resounding yes! There is much to like about Stacy and Jo. It was nice to revisit characters from previous books in the series. Enjoyable read about not only friendship but family.
