    1. Great book. Compact for traveling. Gives enough information to keep you culturally aware while in Uganda.

    2. Fairly useful read, helps you gain an understanding of most of the major cultural differences that might be confusing when arriving in Uganda as a westerner. Reading this definitely helped me get more out of my trip. Unfortunately the book is filled with salty generalisations that’ll make any progressive person roll their eyes to the back of their head, such as:“White girls for some reason seem to gravitate toward Ugandan guys with dreadlocks.     3. Much more than a review if customsThis is a terrific introduction to Uganda with the right amount if history and current affairs for a good understanding of the country. There may be some sections you are not interested in but just skip those. My only complaint is that it needs to be undated more frequently. Highly recommended.
