    1. Closer to 2-1/2 stars, but not enough to round up. I was bored. I'm sorry. Bored and annoyed with the heroine. It just seemed like such a shallow goal to marry a doctor, and then, when a doctor (albeit not the human kind) was interested in her, she kept pushing him away. Even though their chemistry was crazy good. And then, when she finally got her head on straight about the vet, she's depressed when she thinks he's moved on. Well, if he had, she'd have totally deserved it! I was just aggravated [...]

    2. The Hypochondriac & The Veterinarian Interesting story, maybe a bit week but quite funny. Certainly not the worst book I've ever read. Frankie has not been herself since her mother had a major health scare. Now Frankie worries constantly about her own health. She had become a hypochondriac and now decided that if she marries a doctor, he will take care of her, always know what is wrong with her, if anything, and she will be ok. Thus begins her hunt for just the right doctor to marry. Harriso [...]

    3. Not my cup of teaI usually love romantic comedies but just couldn't get into this one. I never quit a book but had to force myself to keep going until it got a bit more interesting in the last 40%. I found Frankie to be annoying and shallow throughout the entire story and couldn't stand the way she babied Romeo. Just simply not a book for me.

    4. Slick's review posted on Guilty Pleasures4 StarsI’m not sure where to begin this review of Sophia Knightly’s latest romance, Paging Dr. Hot, because the main character’s dog, Romeo, kind of stole the show so to speak. However, I think that’s what the author had in mind because Romeo has his own Facebook page where he’s been posting for a couple of months now.Francesca (Frankie) Lake and her adorable dog, Romeo, have relocated to Miami after Frankie’s Mom suffers a near fatal heart at [...]

    5. Originally posted at: longandshortreviewsspWoof, woof, woof! Oh, sorry, I was speaking in dog terms. Why? Well, not only is there a comical and fun story in Paging Dr. Hot, there's a cute dog named Romeo that plays a very important role in the story. Can't understand dog speak? I apologize again. Perhaps I should just tell you what I knowFrancesca Lake has a little bit of a problem. She's become overwhelmed with constant worry. She freaks out at the smallest things, and can't help herself. What' [...]

    6. Sophia Knightly writes not only passionate and sensual romance but romance with a fun, flirty and witty touch. In Paging Dr. Hot she has once again surpassed my expectations and taken sensual to a new level. Frankie has hit the road of no return, she needs to find a Dr that will calm her fears about anything and everything that can go wrong. So she sets out to find herself a Dr. to love her, keep her calm and rooted. She ends up meeting more than she bargained for. An outrageous Aussie sex therapis [...]

    7. This author always writes such entertaining romance books. She always has a few little surprises to make her books stand-out. I liked the main character, Frankie, and her friends. Every single lady needs a neighbor like, Harrison, aka Dr. HOT!I am not sure, I bought into the reason why Frankie was so set having a medical doctor for her husband, but the story was so fun, I let that fact go by. Plus, you got 2 love stories for one in this book, as we can not forget, Romeo and his sweetie, Coquette [...]

    8. Although we all know what is right for us, it is often a little hard to put it into practice. This is something that Frankie, our protagonist, demonstrates perfectly. She has the ideal man in mind and she is set on finding him, but while she takes her sweet time realising who the real love of her life is, things in her work life become turbulent.Frankie is determined to have both a glamorous career in the media and a traditional romance, setting a nice example for all those career driven traditi [...]

    9. Honest rating would have been 1 and a half stars. I wanted a quick fluff read and that's what I got, I guess. I found the novel shallow and just over the top at times that it got to the point of being a little annoying. I checked and apparently, the only line that I highlighted (I always highlight things that I either like OR things that make me go "WTF?!") was the main character thinking, "gosh, aren't two men enough for her? I never realized she was such a man-eater!"TALK ABOUT POT CALLING THE [...]

    10. What a sweet romance! I have been a fan of hers since I first read "Hot For You" the first in the Tropical Heat series. "Paging Dr. Hot" is filled with attractive and quirky characters. What is really unique about this story is that it is told not only from Frankie the female protaganists perspective but also from the very point of view of her loveable miniature dachshund aptly Romeo given his proclivity for putting his adorable nose into her love life. The story of Frankie and her misguided att [...]

    11. Loved this book. It was cute, sexy and funny. Francesca is a TV Reporter, who is also a bit of a hypochondriac. She is lovable, sexy and sometimes nutty. She is looking for a doctor to marry so that she will have someone to help her when she thinks she is sick. Some of the characters she dates are sweet and some are nuts. Enter Harrison, her neighbor and vet to her little dog, Romeo. He just happens to be perfect in every way, it takes Francesca a while to realize this. I highly recommend this b [...]

    12. I bought this book because it has a picture of a dachshund on the cover, and I am a crazy doxie lady. Anyhow, this book was just as I expected: a cute and sweet, albeit predictable, romance. It was enjoyable, but honestly, the biggest draw for me since I'm not a HUGE romance fan, were the parts with the dachshund. I bought the Kindle edition, and it could have used some format editing. Only two chapters showed up showed up on the indexing, but there were more than 20 chapters that just ran right [...]

    13. Reviewer: Justine4.5 Fairies I have more than once crowned Ms. Knightly as my Queen of the Classic Contemporary Reads, and Paging Dr. Hot did NOT disappoint! On the contrary, she even had a few surprises this time around. In the past, our lead hunk never had competition before. She also mixed it up giving us the uber adorable Romeo’s POV, Francesca’s super cute mini dachshund. Luckily, one aspect that never changes with Ms. K, is her beautifully crafted HEAs. I can ALWAYS find one in her sto [...]

    14. This books was entertaining. Sophia Knightly is a fantastic author and I have enjoyed all of her books that I have read so far. This story takes you through Francesca's crazy search to find the perfect doctor to marry and the whole time the sexy vet next door is available. Francesca's dog Romeo also tell us his side of the story and is so funny throughout the book. It makes me wonder what my pets are thinking. If you like a cute love story then this book is for you.

    15. This was cute and funny. I had a good time reading it for the most part, however, I thought that the length went on a little longer than it needed to. Everyone ended up the way that they deserved. :P

    16. Francesca and Romeo are one entertaining and adorable duo, and adding Harrison to the plot makes for an irresistible read. This story had humorous scenes, like a Sophie Kinsella novel. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

    17. This is a really fun book. The characters are very entertaining. I thought the addition of Romeo's point of view was really cute. I've liked each of Sophia Knightly's books that I've read and I can't wait to read more by her.

    18. Funny, lovely and a fast read!!!I love Romeo and I hope that he and Coquette finally sire some whelps.pinche Alex como te odie

    19. this book is fab read in two days as couldn't put down was very funny and reckon a film should be made
