    2. Before I Read The Novel:Why would a rockstar be 'scrubbing floors'?In The Novel:Twenty pages in and I'm questioning how all this stuff happened to the heroine and she didn't still come out on top. She seems like a self assured woman with purpose and flair.Side comments: (as I'm reading the novel)-O.M.G Marilyn Monroe hawt!In The Novel:The novel was good but at times it felt slow but not necessarily boring. I thought Titus was an unfeeling douchebag at times but that just got you more interested [...]

    3. Eh. I love you Sharon Kendrick, but I wasn't too thrilled with this one. Meet Roxanne Carmichael, former girl band lead singer who's down on her luck. Her dad's lost all her money, so yes she's making ends meet by singing in clubs, waitress-ing, ect. So, lucky for her, she gets kicked out of her apartment by sexy Titus who's a gabazillioonare and he (of course) feels bad for her so he gives her a job ON HIS ESTATE as a maid. He can't stop his desire for her, so they end up starting a sexual aff [...]

    4. The trouble with naming your hero Titus Alexander is that every time that name is written out in full in this book, my mind immediately filled it in as 'Titus Andronicus'. That was a minor irritation though. I quite enjoyed this romance, I thought the characters were well-balanced together despite his Grace (for real) Titus getting a bit up himself at times. Roxanne, the heroine was feisty and sparky though and there was pretty good chemistry between the pair. What seriously bugged me though, wa [...]

    5. I've been on a good roll lately, no nonsense stories where adults can and do act like adults! These two know they shouldn't act on their passion but can't stop themselves and embark on their affair. Endings are usually messy in these situations and theirs is no exception. They are acting on the assumptions from when their affair began. Both sulk away and lick their wounds, have the confrontation because of a misunderstanding and finally clear the air. A good read!

    6. Roxanne has really had a hard time. Her dad wants younger women and took everything that she had made from her singing career.Titus really just needed to let loose and give Roxanne and chance and stop being so stuck up.Loved the plot and it was written in such a way that it was easy to follow.

    7. I guess it ticked the boxes in terms of romance staples but it was totally unbelievable. The take on the class system with upstairs downstairs. Didn't like the hero, I thought he was an arrogrant sex crazed moron.I think the storyline is better suited to a regency novel than a modern romance. If not for Kendrick's good writing skills this would be probably have not being published.

    8. The book was good with the storyline of Duke falls for what is deemed an inappropriate woman. Said woman did let the Duke get away with using her a bit much and when she finally grew tired of it she started telling him the lies he wanted to hear. Seemed like perfect revenge to me.

    9. well I didn't finish, first half of this book is 2 stars- didn't capture me- I disliked it all from subject to characters and setting
