    1. I love this author but I could not get into this book. I kept putting it down to go read another book and finally I just skimmed to get to the end. The bad: Characters and humor were too immature. Felt high schoolish. The men behaved like woman. The good: Multiple POV

    2. Genre:Contemporary Romance + Sports + Humor Series:Hot-Lanta series #1 (read the series in order) :: 4.5 Pretty Little Stars :: Meghan Quinn sure knows how to write a GREAT story! I really adored this one. It's a bit different than her newer novels (i.e. The Virgin/Randy Romance Novelist, Stroked, The Mother Road etc.) but just as good. Why is this one different? Well, because it is not all about the humor. Instead, it is a story (or series rather) of friendship, falling in love, loss, pain, and [...]

    3. Holy HOTNESS from HELL.Well I justI really don't know where to start with this book!SeriouslyFirst I need to thank Meghan for providing me with an ARC copy of this book to read and review for this blog tour.Secondly!I completely feel lost. I feel like my hearts been dragged out, boiled, knifed, fed to the wolves and stitched back together again, talk about emotionally draining. This book is written perfectly, Megahn gives us multiple POV's so we know where everyone is thinking at any one point in [...]

    4. Caught Looking Review UmmmWTF is all I have to say about Meghan Quinn's Caught Looking.Okay, it's not all I have to say, but seriouslyWTF? LOLI realize I'm not giving y'all much, but I'm still reeling from the way it ended. However, I'll let you know now, I really, really, really enjoyed it. I jumped right in before reading the synopsis (again). That's when I realized, I didn't remember what this book was going to be about. Usually, I'm compelled to know what to expect, but I was immediately cap [...]

    5. ARC Was Given To Blog For An Honest ReviewThis book was a refreshing surprise. I really really loved it. Very different than most books that tend to focus on a particular couple. This story is an ensemble cast of characters each with their own stories going on, but all of stories entwine within each other. There are also characters that are introduced and you can tell they will play out in the next part of the series. What a fantastic concept for a book, think soap opera, without the dramatic st [...]

    6. More sass and less classThis was my first Meghan Quinn read, and I'm looking forward to more in the Hot-Lanta series. I must admit, she took multiple POV to a whole new level. I felt like I needed my tissues, a bucket of popcorn, and my girlfriends to get through this page turning drama. There were hot pro baseball players, crazy ex's, danger, suspense, laughter, love, heartbreak, and tears. There was shopping, dancing, spa day, girl's night, penis decor, and goodbye blow jobs. There are drinkin [...]

    7. Great book! Loved the storyline! Freaking love Molly! I kind of hated the end :( but i hope that what I think is going to happen will happen in the next book Can't wait to see the new book!!!! You have a new fan in me!!

    8. I kind of struggled with this one the storyline was good but there was a lot of povs and third person going on overall it was an ok read and I will continue the series because I will need to know what happens

    9. Ok, so I am having a hard time beginning my review of this book and mainly because of the ending of the book. I am just sitting here with my mouth hanging wide open trying to take it all in and figure it all out.Jane has been hurt in her past and she wants to wallow in self-pitty on this one day each year. Remember that as the day everything changed in her life. But instead of letting her wallow, her friends decided it was girls night out… And girls night out was going well until an old friend [...]

    10. ARC Was Given For An Honest ReviewI’m not usually a person who reads books about athletes, it’s just not my thing, but something told me to give this book a shot, and I couldn’t be happier that I did. I absolutely loved this book. It was different from my norm…no dark hidden pasts, nothing twisted and crazy, just a feel-good book. At least most of the book is a feel good book. I will admit, there’s a cliffy, and I did ugly cry, but that’s literally at the end of the book. Everything [...]

    11. I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review. I gave this book 5 stars. This is the first book that I have read from Meghan Quinn, and I was not disappointed. This book follows the lives of Jane, Brady and their group of friends fighting the hardships of cheating, trusting, losing love and trying to find it once again.I loved that this focused not on just one love story but of all her friends also, you fell in love not just with Jane and Brady But with her bff Molly and her fiance' Luke [...]

    12. I found this story to be so immature. I didn't connect to the main character Jane. Brady was another story. He was totally interesting. The one couple I did like was Molly and Lukebut unfortunately, the ending - Yeh didn't like it, but it did hook me to read the next installement to see if maybe something was a mistake. I have a feeling that it isn't.This series could have been so much better, if the language was cleaned up a bit, and not aimedfor a younger audience. Also the characters could hav [...]

    13. This was an awesome book! I couldn't put it down. In fact I read it in 8 hours! Can't wait to get the 2nd book Playing the field!

    14. This is such an amazing book. It's not just the story of Brady & Jane but also their friends. The book was well written and I can't wait to find out more about this group.

    15. Well Damn! For this to be Meghan Quinns first series, she sure did write her ass off. I fell in love with all of the friends in this book. Everyone had their own story going on. Some were happy and some were seriously sad. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

    16. PerfectionI loved this book, and highly recommend this series! The characters are so well written that I felt every laughter and every tear! Wow! I cannot wait to see where they go next!

    17. Caught Looking (Hot-Lanta, #1) by Meghan Quinn*** Provided by NetGalley in exchange for an Honest review. ***My Synopsis:It was two years ago that Jane Bradley was supposed to be married. But she'd walked in on her future-husband, George, "helping the office assistant,Rebecca, with her new position". Jane promptly left him and, in a show of independence, started JB Events. On the two-year anniversary of her not-marriage, her best friends "Mouthy" Molly and "The Most Gay" Albert decide to prevent [...]

    18. Okayis story was a mixed bag of tricks for me. It was a little of everything. It was playful, sweet, raunchy, rude, sad, ridiculous and extremely raw in parts. Instead of one big storyline about a boy and a girl (so to speak), it was a hodgepodge of stories about several people. I wasn't really expecting that. My ThoughtsJane and Brady: Where to begin about these two I liked them, but they both got on my nerves. Jane was someone I cheered for in the beginning, however her insecurities and trust [...]

    19. Holy Hell . I do think there is an author who does emotional stories with some funnies in there better than Meghan Quinn. All the characters in this book take you on a journey of a circle of friends. You have Brady, jane , Molly, Michael, Luke, Patty, Albert, Marc, and so on. This story made me feel like I was on an extremely exciting emotional rollercoaster . If you love books that give you the feels and will make you laugh and cry , then this nook is for you.

    20. WOW just WOW Meghan never disappoints. Every time i pick up a book she has written i know that i will truly be blown away. Caught Looking did absolutely that, it blew me away from the very beginning. I fell in love with the characters within the first chapters, had my heart broken numerous times throughout the book, and I loved every minute of it.I loved that this book was not only a story about Jane and Brady but about Luke and Molly, Micheal and Kelly, and even the gay friend everybody needs [...]

    21. Caught Looking, Meghan QuinnReview from jeannie zelos book reviewsI’ve read several good baseball/sport romances recently and was really looking forward to this buts not one for me. I did finish it but it was very hard going.  Jane, I get that she’d had a harsh break-up but that was two years past, she’d built her business up, but was still whining as regards her personal life. I just really didn’t like her to start with and didn’t ever get to change that. Brady was the only person [...]

    22. 3 Are you kidding me StarsThis is the first book in Quinn's Hot-Lanta series. Jane had her heartbroken by a cheating fiance two years ago. Her best friend Molly is really pushing for Jane to get back to her old sexy/feisty self. Brady, first baseman for the Braves, fits the bill and also finds himself attracted to Jane. He too had dealt with a cheating ex. While I initially thought this book was their story in reality it is more a compilation of multiple characters' stories. Told in four alterna [...]

    23. There is a lot going on in this book! This book is not just about one couple but rather a few couples and few other people as well. It's told from 4 pov's - it doesn't repeat the story from each pov but rather their own story.Jane has been beat down by her ex-finance and has suppresses her true personality because of it. When she meets Brady he slowly breaks down her walls, and the old Jane comes back to life. Brady has a rep if being a playboy which is the furthest thing from the truth. When he [...]

    24. I really enjoyed this book and the story of this group of friends based around the main love interests; you meet a cast of main players with the story being presented in third person giving the subjective view of the four main characters. Jane and Brady are the main love interests here, Jane who’s last relationship has left her hurt and guarded and Brady the famous baseball player who if the press are to be believed is a player in more than one sense. Molly, Jane’s best friend, along with h [...]

    25. I was expecting to get Jane and Brady's story, instead there were a multitude of stories. This book is told from multiple points of view, and so you get to hear everyone's opinion and thoughts. This book was as hot as I expected it to be and I enjoyed reading it.I really liked Jane. She's coming out of a bad breakup. Her ex-George deserves to be strung up by his balls, but more about him later. I liked how Jane slowly came out of her reserved nature and soon was trading barbs with the best of th [...]

    26. This was the first book in this series, and it started off with a bang. I've read books that were from the POV from one of two characters, but Meghan takes this series beyond that. This book is from multiple (4-5) POV's and just grabbed me and wouldn't let go. This was an extremely well written book that so many thing going on, I don't even know where to begin and where to end. There's Molly and Luke, they've been together for a while and toward the end of the book we're getting ready for their [...]

    27. This is a book about a group of friends. Jane is an event planner and has her own company called JB events. Molly is an elementary school teacher. Jane and Molly get reacquainted with their friend from College Michael. Michael now plays in the major leagues for the Atlanta Braves. Jane gets out of a brutal relationship with a cheating creep and refuses to date anyone. Molly finally convinces her to go out and that’s when they see Michael with his teammates. Once the sexy player Brady Matthews [...]

    28. I really did not like the main heroine of this book for many reasons. She was so insecure it was crazy. And her personality was so wishy-washy that I wanted to smack her. She goes from sending Brady pictures of herself so he could see how sexy she was to questioning him if he was embarrassed to be seen with her. Huh?My biggest issue came when the main conflict of the book happened. Earlier in the book she was in a compromising position with Michael and Brady walked in. He was understandably upse [...]

    29. Great Story of Love and Friendship:Okay.I needed time to calm down before I wrote this review. I was SO PISSED because the end of this book had me such an emotional wreck I wanted to throw my ereader.Jane went through so much and at the end, even her friend Molly went though so DEEP stuff.I have to be honest, the beginning of the book dragged a bit for me. I try to give the author the benefit because I know this was her FIRST book. You can tell that also. It improves as the story goes along. So [...]
