    1. When I first started reading this book, I didn't warm to Carter's character right away. He felt rough and uncaring. As we learn a bit about his past, I realized that there is a reason he comes off that way because like the title, he's broken. This book deals with the very serious issue of bullying. 2. 2.5/3 Stars. This book had a lot of potential. The story was there, but some of the verbiage was awkward. I think if certain parts of the story were rewritten, some of the conversation would not feel so misplaced. Not sure how I felt about the hero in this book. 3. Downloaded this book free months ago and finally decided to read it. It was about emotional, physical abuse with a lot of bullying. I felt really bad for Carter and Vani in their own broken situations. Hopefully there will be a continuation with the story to find out what happens with Carter's mom and him getting back home to his Vani.

    4. It should be three and half. It's a cute story for a high schooler. It just something I tried reading, but was getting a boring for me
