    1. I picked up Michael Tresca's book last night, expecting to read a chapter or two before bed. Instead, I ended up finishing the book in one sitting! The story Mr. Tresca chose to write is deeply engaging and fun to read, and so I found myself turning page after page, fully engrossed in the events and wondering how they would unfold.     2. I've read about a third so far but I had to stop reading because there were some moments that reminded me of Oliver Twist. The flashbacks where the rat was a boy who met Piper and taken back to live with Piper and Black with other boys This reminded me of Oliver and Dodger. Then the rat/boy was being taught how to pick pocket Again this is an Oliver Twist thing with Fagen and Oliver.
