    1. I liked it, but I wished it had been a bit cleaner. Most of the stuff happened between married couples, but there was other stuff thrown in there. Not horrible, but enough to knock it down a star. Moral Note: A lot of drinking, getting drunk. No language that I can remember. Some innuendos, and talk about wanting to take her to his bed. Behind closed doors stuff. Talk of mistresses. Leering men. Passionate kisses, and he pats her on the bottom. Mild violence. Wow, it sounds worse when you list i [...]

    2. I liked this one, for the most part. It was a fun story with plenty of twists to keep things interesting. It kept my attention and I was curious to see how everything would work out. I can totally see why so many people enjoyed it. I really thought the book was fun, but I also had to constantly remind myself to stop over thinking things. My practical mind just had a very hard time wrapping around certain elements, and it did keep me from enjoying the book more. Since I like to vent, I put those [...]

    3. I do love a good highwayman book and a pirate turned highwayman is even better! This story chronicles the lives of Marcus and Matthew--twins who are very different from each other. While one thrives under his father's attention, the other is shunned by the same man. As Marcus grows up knowing he will never get his father's stamp of approval, he turns to creating a life for himself away from his sire and his twin brother. Years later, as a highwayman, Marcus robs a stagecoach seeking information a [...]

    4. Oh the expectations for this book were high. Sadly, it fell a little short for me. I couldn't tell you exactly why. It had a little pirate element, there was romance, intrigue and it was of course CLEAN! I just couldn't quite "fall in love," no pun intended(well maybe a little). It really was enjoyable for the most part and at times it really sucked me in. But whenever it was about to hook me, it kind of lost me again. Again I don't want to nail down to many specifics or else I will spoil it. I [...]

    5. In Marie Higgin's usual amazing style, she has crafted a delectable romance with so many creative and unexpected twists and turns that the reader is never allowed to get bored. How on earth she comes up with such exciting, unique plots is a mystery to me. Marcus Thorne is a consummate hero who would turn the head and heart of any lady.Falling in Love Again is a wonderful read. I can't imagine anyone not really loving it.

    6. I LOVED IT!!!! Gripping from the opening line for me. Held my attention, ya I guessed right on stuff but still I loved it. Sweet love story, heart of forgiveness and clean. Beautiful and well written. I loved it!

    7. I loved this book so much I couldn't set it down till I was done. The characters are great and the plot twist keep you guessing.

    8. This sweet romance kept me reading until I finished it…and then, had me wishing there were more pages to read. I stumbled onto Marie Higgins’ historical romances a couple of years ago, and have read at least eight of her books, enjoying each– and always up for reading another one. The story takes place in New York in the year 1766, several years before the American Revolution. Isabelle Stanhope comes to America in hopes of straightening out her deceased father’s affairs and secure her in [...]

    9. The story is about a pirate turned highwayman that is trying to uncover secrets from the Royal Navy. Marcus Thorne lives a double life, going back and forth between his shipping business in New York and leading his gang of highwaymen. As the story opens, his gang has taken a group of travelers prisoner, including Isabelle Stanhope. Marcus recognizes her as the daughter of an enemy and decides to exact his revenge through her. The two begin falling in love but happy ever after is interrupted when [...]

    10. The protagonist is abducted by a tall dark handsome highwayman who has killed her father. But she falls for his charms and he turns out to be kind unlike what she expected him to be.The highwayman is fighting the navy as his father who has been in the navy has tried to poison him and has discarded him when he was very young.Circumstances lead him to believe that she is a naval spy. He discards her only for circumstances to throw them together once again as husband and wife. They keep suspecting e [...]

    11. I recently read this book on wattpad. I enjoyed it, but wished it was more about Marcus and his past than anything else. So two stars for writing style and plot and one star for awesome characters minus Gabriel. As much as I liked him in the first book, I don't like how he can kill on a whim without feeling remorse. However, after finishing this book, only one question comes to mind; whatever happened to Mrs. Winters? Really, I want to know!!

    12. This story could be so good, if not for all the errors. It's very distracting. I enjoy her style of writing and wish her lots of luck. If it ever does get edited, I would love to come back and give it more stars, but I just can't the way it stands now.

    13. I was intrigued enough by the first book to look up the second. Still set in Revolutionary America, but again, the mystery was a little tough to figure out who was on which side. Easy, clean, fast read.

    14. This one sounded like a fun story, but it didn't live up to my expectations. The story/writing was "cheesy" in parts and some plot inconsistencies and other editing issues distracted me.
