    1. Imagine a fencing technique with an unstoppable thrust. Now imagine only one man knows the technique, and he shows it to a beautiful young woman who uses the technique to kill the fencing master's best friend.

    2. I did not read the study guide, I read the book. I have been unable to change the cover/title. I did do a review, but it vanished. This was an excellent book. I don't usually read this genre, but I will continue to watch for this author. The plot was wonderful, the characters alive. The reader is transported to a time and place long gone but it felt real.     3. This one took some time to read, but each time I picked it up I could get in the mood of the main character, even though the story itself was a bit weak, the mood, setting and form made up for a great read. I recommend!

    4. A master plot, a master writer and a good translator. The only problem is that Reverte's books always demand to be read and finished ASAP.
